Services
The work behind a store that actually runs.
Four practice areas, one team. Design, engineering and release sit together, and nothing is subcontracted out.
Practice 01
Custom Shopify apps
Public or bespoke apps built to a brief: embedded admin apps, checkout and customer-account extensions, and the Admin API work behind them. Built, submitted and maintained.
- Embedded admin apps (Polaris, App Bridge)
- Checkout and customer-account UI extensions
- Shopify Functions for discounts and delivery logic
- App Store submission and review support
Practice 02
Integrations
The unglamorous work that decides whether a store actually runs: connecting Shopify to the ERP, POS, payment, tax and fulfilment systems around it, with the failure cases handled.
- ERP, POS and inventory synchronisation
- Payment, tax and fulfilment providers
- Webhook pipelines with retry and reconciliation
- Data migration between platforms
Practice 03
Headless & storefronts
Storefronts built on the Storefront API when a theme is the constraint rather than the solution: Hydrogen or Next.js, with performance treated as a requirement.
- Hydrogen and Next.js storefronts
- Storefront API and metaobject modelling
- Core Web Vitals as an acceptance criterion
- Theme app extensions where a theme is right
Practice 04
Support & maintenance
Shopify ships changes on a quarterly cycle and deprecates API versions on a schedule. We keep apps current against it, so an upgrade is routine rather than an emergency.
- Admin API version upgrades
- Monitoring, alerting and error budgets
- Performance and cost review
- Incremental feature work
Process
Five stages, every project
Discovery is paid and ends in a written spec, so the price you get is based on a real understanding of the work rather than a guess.
01
Scope
A short paid discovery: what the app must do, what it will not do, and the Shopify surfaces it touches. Ends in a written spec and a fixed price.
02
Design
Flows and interface, reviewed against Shopify's Polaris and app design guidelines before production code is written.
03
Build
Two-week increments, each ending in an installable build on a development store you can use.
04
Launch
Submission and review support for public apps, or install and rollout for bespoke ones, with monitoring in place on day one.
05
Operate
API version upgrades, monitoring and iteration under a maintenance agreement, or a clean handover to your team.
Engagements
Ways to work with us
Scoped build
A defined app or integration, fixed price, fixed release date. Discovery, design, engineering and launch.
You know what you need built.
Retained team
Our engineers and designers work as your commerce team on a monthly basis, inside your process and tooling.
You have continuous roadmap.
Maintenance
You own the app; we keep it healthy: API version upgrades, monitoring, incident response and small changes.
Something already exists.
